Feature: Mandatory Opioid Poisoning Response Training
In June 2023, in an effort to combat the growing opioid crisis in Canada, the Ontario government mandated that construction workplaces must carry naloxone kits and provide opioid poisoning response training to their staff, under the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA). This applies to any workplace deemed at risk of an overdose occurring.
